Welcome to Ustaad Bulao. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ustaad Bulao mobile application, website, and related services operated by UZMIK MEDIA (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Ustaad Bulao is a marketplace platform that connects consumers with service providers (sellers) for local services such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, AC services, cleaning, and similar categories. We provide technology and communication tools to enable discovery, booking, and messaging. Unless expressly stated, we are not the direct provider of listed services.
You must be legally able to enter into binding agreements under applicable law. You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date. You may only use one account per person unless explicitly permitted.
You may register using email/password or supported third-party sign-in methods (such as Google Sign-In). You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality and all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of unauthorized use or suspected security breaches.
The platform supports different roles including consumers and sellers. Features available to each role may differ. Sellers are responsible for the truthfulness of profile, skills, pricing, service areas, and availability. Consumers are responsible for providing accurate booking details and safe access information where needed.
Ustaad Bulao facilitates interactions between users but does not guarantee the quality, legality, safety, timeliness, or suitability of services provided by sellers. Any agreement for service delivery is between consumer and seller. Users are solely responsible for their conduct, communication, and contractual commitments.
Users must communicate respectfully and lawfully. You agree not to post or transmit misleading, abusive, fraudulent, defamatory, sexually explicit, hateful, illegal, or harmful content. You must not misuse chat, booking, rating, or reporting systems. We may suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, fraud, impersonation, charge abuse, repeated cancellations, manipulation of ratings, or policy violations.
Service prices, quotes, and terms are determined by sellers unless otherwise specified. Ustaad Bulao may introduce service fees, platform fees, or promotional discounts at its discretion. If digital subscriptions or in-app purchases are offered, billing is processed by third-party billing providers (such as Google Play Billing). Subscription renewals, cancellations, and refunds follow the applicable store billing policies unless local law requires otherwise.
Certain seller features may require an active paid subscription (for example dashboard access, premium tools, or messaging-related capabilities, depending on current product configuration). Trial availability, pricing, and feature gating may change over time. If a subscription lapses, access to subscription-gated features may be limited until restored or renewed.
Users should first attempt to resolve disputes directly through platform communication. For app subscription billing, refunds are generally governed by the app store’s refund rules. For service-performance disputes, Ustaad Bulao may review reported evidence and take platform actions (including warnings, restrictions, or account suspension), but we do not guarantee adjudication outcomes for private service disputes.
Consumers may submit ratings and reviews based on genuine experience. Reviews must be truthful, relevant, and non-abusive. We reserve the right to moderate or remove reviews that violate policy, are fraudulent, or are unrelated to actual service interactions.

All rights in the app, brand assets, logos, software, designs, and content provided by Ustaad Bulao are owned by or licensed to UZMIK MEDIA (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED. You may not copy, reverse engineer, redistribute, or exploit platform assets except as permitted by law or written consent.
You agree not to: attempt unauthorized access to systems or data, use bots/scraping tools, interfere with app operation, upload malware, evade bans, create fake accounts, manipulate rankings or reviews, violate third-party rights, or use the platform for unlawful activities.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access at any time if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, applicable law, or platform safety requirements. You may stop using the app at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability and dispute clauses) will remain in effect.
The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, UZMIK MEDIA (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, data loss, or service interruption arising from or related to platform use. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed amounts paid by you to us (if any) during the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UZMIK MEDIA (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Pakistan unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law. Jurisdiction and venue for disputes shall lie with competent courts in Pakistan, subject to applicable legal rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
